Who we are

This Privacy Policy covers ClipWhim (mischief1.com), an independent web tool for generating short AI videos with the Mischief 1 image-to-video model. ClipWhim (mischief1.com) is not affiliated with or endorsed by The Biological Computing Co. (TBC), the creator of the model. ClipWhim is the data controller for personal data processed by the Service. Questions about privacy can be sent to support@mischief1.com or through the support form on the site.

Information we collect

  1. Account information – your name, email address and profile image when you sign up (directly or via a sign-in provider such as Google).
  2. Content you submit – the images you upload and the prompts you write, plus the videos generated from them.
  3. Generation and credit records – which videos you generated, their status, settings and the credits used or refunded.
  4. Payment information – purchases are processed by our merchant of record, Waffo Pancake (Waffo.com Limited), which acts as an independent controller for payment, billing and tax data under its own privacy policy (https://www.waffo.ai/privacy). We receive order details (product, amount, status) but never your full card number.
  5. Usage and device data – basic logs, browser and device type, and cookies needed to keep you signed in and to understand how the site is used.

How we use your information

  • To run the service: sign you in, generate videos, show your video history and keep your credit balance correct.
  • To process payments, grant credits and handle refunds.
  • To answer support requests and send essential service messages.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse and violations of our Terms of Service.
  • To improve the site using aggregated usage statistics.

We do not sell your personal information.

Third-party video generation (fal)

Videos are generated through a third-party API provided by fal (fal.ai), which runs the Mischief 1 model. When you generate a video, your uploaded image and prompt are sent to fal for processing, and the resulting video is hosted by fal and/or our storage provider. fal processes this data under its own terms and privacy policy. Generated video links may expire; download any clip you want to keep.

Other service providers

We use providers for hosting (Vercel), database, file storage, analytics, email and payments (Waffo Pancake). They only receive the data needed to perform their service for us.

Data retention

We keep your account and generation records while your account is active. Uploaded images and generated videos may be deleted after a reasonable period. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us at the address above to make a request.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, but no online service is completely secure.

Children

ClipWhim is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version; material changes will be announced on the site.
