Acceptable Use Policy

Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everything you upload, type or generate on ClipWhim (mischief1.com). It is part of our Terms of Service. If you break it, we may block the content, remove it, and suspend or close your account.

Prohibited content

You must not use ClipWhim to create, upload or share any of the following.

1. Illegal content

Anything that is illegal where you live or in the People's Republic of China (mainland China), or that promotes, plans or helps with illegal activity, including fraud, scams, spam and malware.

2. Sexual and NSFW content

Nudity, pornography, sexually explicit or sexually suggestive content, including "nudify" or undressing edits of any person.

3. Minors

Any sexual, suggestive or exploitative content involving minors (anyone under 18), or anyone who appears to be a minor. This is strictly forbidden. We remove it immediately, close the account, and report it to the relevant authorities, including NCMEC.

4. Deepfakes and impersonation

Realistic images or videos of real people without their consent, impersonating a real person, or fabricated content showing real people saying or doing things they did not say or do. This includes public figures, celebrities and politicians. Face swaps, intimate-scene compositing and fake speeches are not allowed, even with consent.

5. Harassment and hate

Content that harasses, bullies, threatens, humiliates or targets a person or group, or that promotes hate based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar traits.

6. Violence and gore

Graphic violence, gore, torture, animal cruelty, content that glorifies or encourages violence or terrorism, and content that promotes self-harm or suicide.

7. Intellectual property infringement

Content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights, such as copyrighted characters, logos or brands, unless you own the rights or have permission.

Uploads

You may only upload your own photos, or images for which you have explicit permission from the people depicted. Uploading another person's photo without their consent is prohibited. Before generating, you must confirm that the image is your own or that you have permission. Permission never makes a deepfake allowed: face swaps, "nudify" edits, intimate scenes of real people, and videos that make a real person appear to say or do something they did not are prohibited even with consent.

AI-generated content

All videos made with ClipWhim are AI-generated. Do not present them as real footage of real events or people, and label them as AI-generated where the law or the platform you publish on requires it.

How we moderate

• Prompt filtering (before generation): every prompt is checked by our keyword blocklist and by an automated prompt safety check before generation. Prompts that match prohibited categories are rejected and no credits are charged. We update the blocklist regularly.
• Output checks (before display): generated videos can be checked by an automated safety classifier before they are shown; flagged videos are hidden and their credits are refunded.
• Upload confirmation: before generating, you must confirm that you own the image or have permission from anyone in it.
• Provider safeguards: our model provider may also refuse inputs or outputs.
• Review: we may review uploads, prompts and outputs that are flagged by our systems or reported by users. We keep moderation logs.

Enforcement

Depending on how serious the violation is, we may reject the request, delete the content, give a warning, forfeit the credits used for the violating content, suspend the account, or close it permanently. Credits used for violating content are not refunded. We report content involving the sexual exploitation of minors to the authorities.

Reporting abuse

To report content or a user that breaks this policy, email support@mischief1.com with a description and any links or screenshots. We review reports and usually respond within 2 business days. If you think we blocked your content by mistake, you can appeal at the same address.
